Volunteering

Volunteers are the life-blood of the Friends of Newport Ship. Our volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds, with differing skills and abilities assisting the project in various ways.  A few for examples are;

 as guides at the Ship Centre, talking to visitors about the ship and the project.

 as researchers, helping to uncover more about the ship by searching the archives.

 as presenters, going out giving talks to groups such as clubs and associations.

Whatever your interest, the project has many areas where you can help, from lending a hand to keep the Ship Centre clean and tidy to professional skills like public relations and business administration.

So whether you have a lot of time or only a little if you are interested in getting involved why not get in touch with us either via our contact form or e-mail, details are on our contact us contact us page.
