Guides work at the Ship Centre on open days, meeting and taking visitors around the displays. Their role is to inform and inspire our visitors about the Ship, its discovery and history. New guides are given training by buddying with and mentoring from an experienced guide, organised by the lead volunteer.
If you like interacting with the general public, and have an interest in medieval history and the Newport Ship, have a lot of time or only a little why not get in touch with us either via our contact form or e-mail, details are on our contact us page.
