Opening Hours

Coronavirus (COVID-19): Following the latest advice from the Government, it is with much regret that we are CLOSED until further notice.


We normally open Fridays, Saturdays and Bank Holiday Mondays during the season.

Saturdays: Closed - 10.30am until 4.00pm.
Fridays: Closed - 10.30am until 4.00pm.


Bank Holiday Mondays: Easter, May Day, Spring Bank Holiday, Summer Spring Bank Holiday - 10.30am until 4.00pm.

Last admission: 3:30pm

Donations are greatly appreciated.

There are plenty of things going on at the Ship Centre.  As well as guided tours we seek to inform our visitors about medieval life and time.  From coin striking to visiting groups.  Come down and learn more.
