Book Launch – The day the sea came in: 1607 on the Gwent Levels
Come and meet the historian and author Rose Hewlett for the lauch of her new book at the Ship Centre on Saturday 23rd November. Not only will the book make an ideal stocking filler for Christmas but is also a wondeful way for youngsters to learn about local historical events. For more details see our Events and Talks page.
There will be children’s activities and story telling during the day.
We will also have copies of author Jennifer Foster’s book for children, The boar with the apples on his tusks available, along with other publications and gifts.
