Since we closed for the winter months a further batch of timbers have been returned after completion of the freeze drying.

With two thirds of the timbers conserved it is hoped that the conservation stage will be completed in late 2020. As the conservation stage moves towards completion the project is planning the next phase “reassembly”.

In preparation for the 2020 Season of Ship centre open days some new illustrations of the ship have been commissioned which we hope will be ready in time for when we open the ship centre on 21st March 2020 for the first open day of this year.
