The British Plate Armour Society will be in attendance with their ‘show and tell’ displays and a table full of wares.  Come and dress up as a knight in shining armour and wield a mighty sword.

Their members will be running a training session at 2pm, culminating in a mock battle with much clashing of swords on armour!

Also on display will be a replica cannon – as would have been carried by our own Newport Ship to defend against pirates – or even indulge in piracy herself.

Amanda Bennett (Chanson d’Avalon), medieval dressmaker and costumier, will also be there with a selection of her outfits. If you fancy something spectacular for your next medieval outing, then come and see what’s on offer.
