Special Curator Talks & Tours

As part of the Newport Ship Project’s outreach, the project curator Dr Toby Jones, Chairman of the Friends of Newport Ship, Phil Cox and Rob Kenny, our Events Coordinator, are available to visit groups, organisations and societies to talk about the project and why the Newport Ship was so important. The date and times of these talks will be listed below. If you think your group might be interested in a visit from Toby, Phil or Rob, you can contact us and we would be happy to arrange it.

New speakers are coming on stream to extend our reach, so Allan Cook (Welsh-speaker) is also available to give talks and host Welsh-medium visits.

We do ask for a speaker’s fee of £30 upwards which goes directly to the project.  For ‘long distance’ talks we may ask for expenses at cost.
